The former Buildbase site in Gulson Road will be demolished following approval of the development plan for new students flats just outside Coventry city centre.

This key site located on the edge of the Coventry Ring Road and adjacent Coventry University, is walking distance to many key amenities.   Rainier Developments secured a full planning consent for 167 apartments, across two buildings ranging from 3 storeys to a 16-storey residential tower as the landmark building.  

A central street runs through the development maintaining access to the allotments in the south east and creates a shared community space. Whilst the apartments are positioned on the main vehicular entrance to the city, they are also near the major train station and cycle parking. 

Buildfifty5 were approached by the Developer Rainier Developments, to carry out the project delivery of the scheme.  This will include procurement of the design team and the main contractor to deliver this prestigious project.
